Does SparkTales write the book for me?
Every book starts with your ideas. You pick the hero, the setting, and what happens; for a fully custom story, you answer the questions that shape the plot. SparkTales takes those answers and turns them into a first draft and matching illustrations. It’s a co-writer that follows your lead, not a replacement for your imagination.
Will using AI make me less creative?
We built SparkTales to work the other way around. The blank page, the drawing skill, the page layout; those are usually what stop young creators before they even start. What is a starter theme?
A starter theme is a ready-made story theme (school adventures, space mysteries, animal sidekicks, and more) each with its own short set of questions to make it yours. You still choose the characters and shape the story.
What are reading levels?
SparkTales offers multiple reading levels, from an early picture book with a short caption on every page up to longer books with full chapters. Pick the level that fits who will read the book.
Can I choose how the pictures look?
Yes. Choose from a range of illustration styles, applied consistently across your whole book (cover, character art, and every interior page).
Can I describe what my character looks like?
Yes, describe your character’s appearance, age, and other details in your own words, and SparkTales keeps that look consistent across the whole book. In Illustration Studio (see below) you can also attach a reference image to guide a single illustration.
What do I get at the end?
A print-ready illustrated book (front cover, story pages, and back cover) that you can preview and, once you’re happy with it, order printed copies of.
I already have a story; can I just get illustrations?
Yes. Illustration Studio is a lighter-weight tool for exactly that; describe a character and a scene, pick a style, and generate a single illustration without setting up a full book.
Is SparkTales free?
SparkTales runs on a credit system. Credits are used for each illustration, each page of story text, and each print-ready PDF you build. You get free credits when you sign up, so you can start creating right away, and can top up credits any time.
When you’re ready to publish, you choose a publishing plan (printed copies plus listing on our store or on Amazon). The price is always shown in full before you pay, with no surprise fees.
Does anyone check the book before it’s published?
Yes. Every book you submit is reviewed by the White Falcon Publishing team before it can go on sale. Story and illustration requests are checked for age-appropriate content as you create.
Who prints and ships the book?
White Falcon Publishing handles printing and shipping your copies once your book is approved and your publishing plan is ordered.
